What Has the Chapter Been Up To?

Our mission as a US Lacrosse Chapter is to help serve, support, and grow the sport of lacrosse in the Eastern Mass community. We look forward to your feedback to help us achieve this goal. Continue reading below to see what the Chapter has been up to in 2016:

  • Supported training for Men and Women Coaches  with our constituent partners MBYLL, MBGLL and US Lacrosse.

  • Ran 2 Learn to Play Clinics and got 6 new trainers trained.

  • Worked with and helped support the Men’s and Women’s Officials organizations on Recruiting and Official Evaluation Program.

  • Supported the 3nd Annual New England Coaching Convention

  • Through grants, supported a number of programs and constituent groups with their regional initiatives.

  • Attended the MBYLL and MBGLL Jamborees to speak about US Lacrosse and how we are helping to grow and support the game we all love.

  • Working on the development of the Eastern Mass Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Regional Recognition event.

  • Working to significantly upgrade our web presence to help serve the community by being a portal to all things lacrosse in Eastern Mass.

Cape Ann Adaptive Youth Lacrosse Program

Patrick's photo was chosen to appear on the National Down Syndrome Society slideshow on the JUMBO Screen in Times Square on September 17, 2016!  Way to go Patrick, keep loving lacrosse!

The Cape Ann Adaptive Youth Lacrosse Program is designed to provide girls and boys with physical, learning and/or cognitive disabilities the chance to learn the game of lacrosse in an appropriate environment. Click here to learn more. The Eastern Mass Chapter is a proud supporter of this program.
